WASECA, MINNESOTA · AN OPEN COMMUNITY INVITATION

What if
our next grocery
belonged to us?

Waseca residents are exploring a community-owned grocery store. We don't have to wait for a building to start imagining—and helping shape—what could make it useful. Bring one idea. Invite one neighbor. Help turn interest into something real.

The first question

If Waseca builds it,
what should matter most?

Pick a priority. It takes one tap. Your choice stays in this browser until you decide whether to share it publicly or send an optional private suggestion for human review.

We do not collect your identity here. Avoid personal stories, addresses, phone numbers, emails, links, or other people's information.

The next neighbor

Don't just like it.
Pass it along.

An actual conversation is worth more than an inflated follower count. Share an honest invitation in your own voice. No chain tracking, referral scores, follower scraping, or official claims.

Important distinction

Interested is not enrolled.

Want to become an actual co-op member?

The cooperative has discussed opportunities to become a member, but I could not verify a current public online enrollment link, membership price, or official member count. Those details must come from the Waseca Area Food Cooperative itself. This independent site does not take dues or register owners.

Want to keep helping in the meantime?

You can optionally stay in touch with Abundent about grocery-related community ideas. That's separate from becoming a member of the cooperative. No account required to read or share this page.

We're not waiting for a marketing department

One person. One invitation. One useful return.

1. Ask.

What would make a community-owned grocery valuable? A real answer beats a hundred assumptions.

2. Invite.

Share with somebody who lives, works, grows, shops, or cares about Waseca. No one gets signed up by being tagged.

3. Build.

Interested neighbors can voluntarily explore one manageable question through our independent Garden and First Yes experiments.

No membership tally, private submissions, or presumed partner relationships are shown. Proposals are proposals; completed work requires independent evidence. Source context: Waseca County Pioneer, October 22, 2026.
